I went bowling with my friend ... but it was cosmic bowling ... meaning they turned off all the lights and had disco light and music playing and you can play as much games as you can. So I guess you can say that I participated in Earth Hour ... just by bowling with the lights off, except for the disco one of course. The following things entered my head... 1) I am in the middle of cooking- pan on stove need lights to see food 2) Earth what????? The second one is especially bad because i am a geography teacher! As i looked at him he read my mind and said i did tell you a week ago. I looked at him lovingly and made a mental note to listen to him and read the paper more. As for Earth hour it is a good idea but needs to be introduced into schools and offices so people know. My parents who are retired, watch the news all the time and read a paper still didn't know anything about it. As usual planet problems dont get enough air time until things are seriously bad or it becomes a fashion item to help the cause. Oh well there is always next year... but please someone remind me!
